Putting Urban Air Mobility (UAM) on a pathway to success

The advanced air mobility industry is evolving at a rapid pace and there’s a global opportunity for innovators in eVTOL to stake their claim to this exciting aviation sector. At the forefront of knowledge – we’re always on top of new industry developments and care about helping innovators succeed. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has published the pre-cursors to a regulatory framework to facilitate the type certification, initial and continuing airworthiness of eVTOL aircraft as well as the laying down rules for Vertiports and U-Space (or UTM) airspace. Known as a Notice of Proposed Amendment (specifically NPA 2022-06), this represent a world’s first in rulemaking for eVTOL use in cities and will result in major amendments to Part 21 ‘airworthiness’ requirements, opening the door to vehicle certification. So it’s a fantastic time to start working with us.

Speech marks

“Across Safety has provided excellent continuous support on all regulatory aspects of our vehicle development programme. They have helped us to define a regulatory strategy that matches our long-term global business plans, while simultaneously managing all the detailed regulatory work for our sub-scale vehicle testing. We have been impressed by the ability of Across Safety to navigate the regulatory complexity of developing a high-altitude unmanned airship, which does not normally fit within the existing rules of most countries. We are happy to recommend their services.”
